Las Vegas is a city with something for everyone. There is gambling, exciting entertainment, and luxury shopping for some or swimming, circuses, and evening strolls to see erupting volcanoes, light shows, and pirates fighting battles for others. Also for your viewing pleasure there are the sights of the Red Rock National Conservation area, the Lake Mead National Recreation area and at Mount Charleston. All of these are very close to the strip so you can just rent a car and do a little sight seeing.
