From Coffee to Cocktails

Tea and coffee around the clock
You will find a kettle, cups, saucers and teaspoons as well as teabags, various coffee sachets, sugar and milk in your cabin. This will be stocked up when necessary by your cabin steward. Tea and coffee is also available free from the buffet area. Alternatively the teapigs range is available to buy in select coffee shops, bars and pubs. Costa coffee can be purchased from Java, Crow's Nest and Grab & Go outlets.

Java

Nothing beats a lazy morning or a languorous afternoon, coffee and magazine in hand. Java offers just the place with an open-air terrace, comfy seating and a tempting selection of pastries and cakes. You can also purchase Costa Coffee here.

Brodies: home of The Great British Beer menu

Brodie's houses the largest collection of bottled British beers at sea, with 65 bottled beers, ales and ciders, including pilsners, ales, stouts, gluten-free beer and speciality beers such as Chocolate Tom from Robinson's Brewery in Cheshire and Ginger Hare from Bath Ales in Somerset to choose from.

The Glass House

Enthusiastic, award-winning wine expert and self-proclaimed foodie, Olly Smith is known for his exuberant TV appearances and writes a weekly wine column for The Mail on Sunday. This stylish, relaxed restaurant and bar offers an informal menu of steak and seafood. With wines selected by Olly Smith, find the perfect match for each course and drink in those sea views!

The Blue Bar

Elegant. Sophisticated. Refined.The Blue Bar will find you cosseted in the ship's very heart with a view of Britannia's stunning starburst sculpture and a cocktail list in hand. What could be better?

The Crow's Nest: Home of The Great British Gin Menu

Combining traditional nautical touches with a real sense of modernity. By day, it's all about the view. By evening, piano music and cocktails transform the mood. Hosting up to 20 gins including small, artisan brands such as The Botanist Islay Dry Gin (Argyll), Tarquin`s Dry Gin (Cornwall), Darnley`s View (Edinburgh), as well as big names such as Bombay Sapphire, Tanqueray and Hendrick's.

Hydrotherapy pool - Located on Deck 5. You have 3 steps to get up to the pool and then 9 steps to get into the pool. (Charges apply as this is an indoor pool part of the spa)

Sun loungers - there are a number of sun loungers on deck if you want to sit back and relax by the pool

Rock up to The Reef! With age-specific clubs, a night nursery, a boatload of activities and enthusiastic Reef Rangers on hand, The Reef is the place to be for under 18s.

Our exciting free on-board programme for 2-17 year olds is called The Reef. Split into four age groups, there are a whole host of exciting activities organised daily by our enthusiastic and well qualified Reef Rangers, to keep children of all ages entertained safely throughout the day and evening, and to ensure that they have the chance to make friends of their own age. We really have thought of everything, so why not let us take the stress out of family holidays.

Age groups are:

Splashers 2-4 year olds - Qualified youth staff provide a full programme of age-specific activities.

Surfers 5-8 year olds - Qualified Reef Rangers provide activities, adventure, games and sport coaching sessions.

Scubas 9-12 year olds - Children this age can either join in the organised games with the specialist Reef Rangers or simply hang out with friends in the chill out areas.

H20 13-17 year olds - Children have their own room to chill out, watch movies, play games or participate in coaching sessions, talent shows and parties.

Family pools

Get ready for some family fun. If you can't keep your children out the water they'll love Britannia's main pools.

Splash zone and paddling pool - located outside the 'Splashers' children's club with button-activated water cannons (suitable for children up to 8 years of age), while in between the two main pools a shallow paddling area will provide just the place for toddlers.

Sun loungers - there are a number of sun loungers on deck if you want to sit back and relax while the kids enjoy the pool.

Teen deck

Hit the deck! Dedicated sun deck and pool for teens. Teenagers will be delighted to discover their very own outside space on Britannia. A first for our fleet, this is sure to be the place to hang out with their new friends.

Sports arena

Arena is an outdoor sports space, ideal for all of the family. The full-sized sports court offers a range of equipment for playing Britain's best-loved sports, including short tennis, cricket and football.

Play with family and friends, or take part in friendly tournaments, arranged by our entertainment crew. The tiered viewing decks are great for cheering on family and friends, and also ideal for parents who want to keep an eye on the children while topping up their tan. There are also screens either side of the bar for playing the latest motion-sensing video games.

Intricately rendered and carefully prepared, you'll be presented with a cake stand laden with intriguing delights. Savour mouth-watering moments indulging in savoury porcini and pancetta eclairs or curried crab tartlets, plus sweeter bites including pistachio petit choux with red berries and orange blossom, bee pollen scones and saffron and mango verrine. This luxury cafe, housed at the heart of Britannia's atrium, is a world of temptation. Relax by the ocean views with a coffee and attempt to choose between the exquisite red velvet cake, raspberry macaroon or chocolate salted butter caramel mille feuille. Splashers childrens' club (2-4 year olds)
Splashers is our club exclusively for guests aged between 2 and 4. There are slides and toys, books and activities... your little ones will be spoilt for choice! Each ship will be slightly different, but you'll still find enthusiastic and qualified Reef Rangers in each club, with programmes and activities suited to the Splashers age group.

Surfers childrens' club (5-8 year olds)
For guests between the ages of 5 and 8, we have Surfers. Your little Surfer will be able to play computer games, watch movies, run around our soft play area, create a puppet show... there is so much to do! Each ship will be slightly different, but you'll still find enthusiastic and qualified Reef Rangers in each club, with programmes and activities suited to the Surfers age group.

Scubas Children's Club (9-12 year olds)
9 to 12 year-old guests can enjoy their own dedicated area on the ship with the club called Scubas. Scubas on board Britannia has a cool arcade feel. Guests visiting Scubas will be able to play air hockey, computer games, pool, or just chill out with their new friends, among the wide choice of things to do on offer. Each ship will be slightly different, but you'll still find enthusiastic and qualified Reef Rangers in each club, with programmes and activities suited to the Scubas age group.

H2O Children's Club (13-17 year olds)
H2O is where teenagers (13 to17 year olds) can hang out and make friends. On board Britannia, H2O has a cool, chilled-out vibe with a pool table, computer consoles and even a retro arcade! There are plenty of beanbags and sofas for guests at H2O to just to chill out and chat too. Each ship will be slightly different, but you'll still find enthusiastic and qualified Reef Rangers in each club, with programmes and activities suited to the H2O age group.

The Market Cafe
This luxurious haven in the heart of Britannia’s atrium offers something sweet for every palate. And it's the only place in the world you can taste Eric's toffee apple and cherries & clotted cream ice creams, made in collaboration with the Hampshire dairy, Jude's. Tuck into tasty crepes and luscious waffles or choose from crunchy handmade biscuits and delectable cakes. Fancy something a little finer? We offer a range of fitness classes such as indoor cycling, pilates, yoga, body sculpt boot camp and push 'n' lift which are assisted by a fitness instructor. Britannia has 2 new fitness classes called TRX and results based training.
